Baker Hughes is seeking a Finance Senior Specialist for FP&A Operations to drive planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting across corporate functions or P&L. You will apply advanced financial methods to support decisions, profitability, and cash generation.

You will partner with functional leaders to optimize performance, manage 3-year plans, and deliver actionable insights across manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain. This role requires strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or HS diploma with 4+ years finance experience).
• Minimum 3+ years of FP&A Operations experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
• Capable of leading initiatives of moderate scope.
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-identification and problem-solving skills.

• Define and monitor KPIs to measure performance across functions.
• Analyze performance and recommend actions to improve profitability and cash generation.
• Develop corrective action plans addressing gaps and risks.
• Advise managers on FP&A approaches and processes.
• Communicate financial methodologies to stakeholders.
• Lead medium-sized projects or contribute to larger initiatives.
• Support objectives with 3–6 months to complete and 2–12 months impact.

As a Finance Senior Specialist - FP&A Operations, you will provide financial planning, analysis, and reporting support for Corporate functions, a business unit, or a P&L organization. You will apply advanced financial methodologies and analytical approaches to support operational and strategic decisions, drive profitability improvements, and enhance cash generation across the organization.

As a Finance Senior Specialist - FP&A Operations, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the business cycle, including 3-year strategic plans, annual budgets, and periodic forecasts across all levels of the organization.
• Defining and monitoring KPIs to measure performance across Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commissioning functions.
• Analyzing business and operational performance and recommending action plans to improve profitability and cash generation.
• Developing corrective action plans to address performance gaps and business risks.
• Advising functional managers and stakeholders on FP&A approaches, processes, and procedures.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and business leaders regarding financial methodologies and approaches for solving complex business challenges.
• Leading medium-sized projects or serving as a key contributor to larger cross-functional initiatives.
• Supporting work objectives that typically require 3-6 months to complete, with results and impact realized over a 2-12 month timeframe.
