Job summary

Aggreko plc in Tananger, Norway, is seeking a Field Service Technician specialized in Temperature Control / HVAC to install, commission, service and decommission chillers, AHUs, cooling towers and related equipment.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, provide on-site technical support to customers and ensure work is completed safely and in line with procedures. A driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Experienced in servicing, maintaining or troubleshooting HVAC, refrigeration, cooling or industrial temperature control equipment.
• Technically qualified in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical or electrical disciplines.
• A strong problem solver with excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Comfortable working independently within a field-based environment and managing customer expectations.
• A holder of a full driving licence and willing to travel regularly to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and decommission chillers, air handling units, cooling towers, heaters and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve refrigeration, electrical, mechanical and control system faults.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections and performance testing to ensure equipment reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers while delivering exceptional service.
• Complete service documentation and ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
