Job summary

A Norwegian engineering company is seeking a field engineer for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom in Mongstad, Norway. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Serve as the field engineer for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom (EIT).
• Follow up on installation activities and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct punch rounds and manage the handover process to the client.
• Prepare and manage final documentation, including red‑line markups.

Required expertise

• Minimum vocational certificate in Electrical/Automation, or equivalent experience as a field engineer.
• At least 1‑2 years of relevant experience as a field engineer.
• Experience from onshore or offshore facilities is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of completion systems such as ProCoSys or PIMS 365 is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Mechanical Completion (MC) and finalization processes.
• Valid FSE course (high/low voltage with first aid).
• Valid Basic Ex course.
• Valid AT/SJA (Work Permit / Safe Job Analysis) certification.
• Language: English and/or Norwegian.
• Location: Mongstad, Norway.
• Work schedule: Full‑time, 14/21 rotation.
• Duration: January 2026 – April 2026.
