Airswift is seeking an experienced Faglig Ansvarlig/Installatør (Electrical Responsible Person) to support the construction phase of a major data center project in Southern Norway. The role involves signing off completed electrical installations and ensuring adherence to Norwegian regulations for a 1.5–2 year program.

You will review and oversee electrical works, supervise subcontractors, coordinate with site management, and uphold quality, safety, and regulatory standards while meeting DSB

Qualifications

• Must hold electrical qualifications and be eligible to act as Faglig Ansvarlig in Norway.
• DSB registration or equivalent approval under Norwegian regulations.
• Experience supervising electrical installation works in industrial or data center environments.
• Ability to legally sign off electrical installations in Norway.
• Fluency in English; Norwegian not required.

Location: Southern Norway Rotation: 10 days on / 4 days off OR Monday-Friday (candidate preference) Employment Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP

Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Faglig Ansvarlig/Installatør (Electrical Responsible Person) to support the construction phase of a major data center project in Southern Norway. The role will be responsible for ensuring electrical work is carried out in accordance with Norwegian regulations and will serve as the designated professional responsible for signing off completed installations. The current project is expected to run for approximately 1.5 - 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the designated Faglig Ansvarlig for electrical works.
• Review, oversee, and sign off electrical installations in accordance with Norwegian regulations.
• Support and supervise electrical subcontractors carrying out cable installation and associated electrical works.
• Ensure compliance with DSB requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Coordinate with site management and project stakeholders.
• Maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Relevant electrical qualifications.
• Eligible to act as Faglig Ansvarlig in Norway.
• DSB registration, or qualifications allowing approval under Norwegian regulations.
• Experience supervising electrical installation works, ideally within industrial, mission-critical, or data center environments.
• Ability to legally sign off electrical installations in Norway.
• English language skills are sufficient; Norwegian is not required.
• EU nationals are welcome to apply, provided they meet the necessary DSB requirements.
