Experienced Turner in Os, Norway

We are in search of an experienced Turner to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to shape metal parts to precise dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the materials required and the sequence of operations
• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, and saws
• Use precision measuring instruments to check dimensions of finished workpieces
• Adjust machine controls and change cutting tools as needed for different jobs
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure their proper functioning
• Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary repairs as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner in a manufacturing or production setting
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments
• Strong knowledge of operating various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drills, and saws
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary repairs

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month based on experience.
