Job summary

Want More in Oslo is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team on a contract basis. The role requires operating excavators per project specs and safety guidelines, with duties including maintenance, loading/unloading materials, and digging foundations.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of excavator experience, a valid license, and the ability to read plans. Preference for Oslo construction experience; accommodation not provided.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as an Excavator Operator.
• Valid operator’s license for excavator machinery.
• Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with safety procedures for heavy equipment operation.
• Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working on construction projects in Oslo.
• Accommodation will not be provided for this position.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Safely load and unload materials using excavator.
• Dig trenches, holes and foundations as needed.
• Move materials around the job site as directed by the supervisor.
• Monitor equipment for any malfunctions or issues and report to the supervisor.
