Job summary

Event Staffing is seeking an ESL Teacher to create a positive, engaging classroom environment for learners of all ages in Os, Norway. You will plan and deliver lessons targeting speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills while using interactive activities and real-life examples to facilitate language growth.

You should have a Bachelor’s in Education or related field, TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification preferred, and at least 1 year of ESL teaching experience.

ESL Teacher

As an ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students of all ages and backgrounds. You will use a variety of teaching techniques and materials to help students improve their English language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective English lessons based on the needs and abilities of each student
• Create lesson plans that incorporate interactive activities, games, and real-life examples to engage students
• Provide regular feedback and evaluation to students on their progress
• Communicate with parents or guardians about student performance and any concerns or updates
• Collaborate with other teachers to share ideas, resources, and best practices for teaching English language learners
• Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification is preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience with children or adults in an ESL setting
• Native or near-native proficiency in English language
• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work full-time in Os with flexible hours

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
