Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Equipment Operator to join our team in Bergen Norway As an Equipment Operator you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery such as excavators bulldozers and loaders to complete a variety of construction projects This is a contract position with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Read and interpret blueprints or instructions for each project
• Communicate with team members to coordinate work and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Complete daily logs and reports on equipment usage and maintenance
• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment preferably in the construction industry
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Ability to read blueprints diagrams or other technical documents
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines for operating heavy machinery
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more if necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or training in operating specific types of heavy equipment eg excavator bulldozer
• Experience working on construction sites in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of basic mechanics for troubleshooting minor issues with equipment

We offer competitive salary of $900 per week along with accommodation and visa sponsorship for non-Norwegian citizens This is a temporary contract position with potential for extension based on performance
