As an Entry-Level Software Tester you will be responsible for testing software applications and systems to ensure they meet quality standards You will work closely with the development team to identify and report any bugs or issues and assist in troubleshooting and resolving them This is an ideal role for someone who is detail-oriented has strong analytical skills and is eager to learn and develop their skills in software testing This position does not require prior experience but a basic understanding of software development processes is preferred The salary for this position is 900$ per month This role is located in Bergen Norway

Key Responsibilities

• Test software applications and systems according to established test plans
• Identify report and track bugs or other issues
• Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Develop test cases and document test results
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools
• Communicate progress and issues to project stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Basic understanding of software development processes
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn new skills

Preferred

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
