Job summary

MapleClass Education in Oslo, Norway is seeking an entry-level Mason to join the team. You will lay bricks, blocks and stones, mix mortar, and cut materials while following blueprints and safety procedures.

This is a great starting point for a career in masonry with training provided by experienced masons. No prior experience is required, but any construction or masonry experience is a plus, and you must be physically fit to lift heavy objects and read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced masons.
• Attention to detail and accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks, or stones according to blueprints or plans.
• Mix mortar and grout to desired consistency.
• Cut and shape materials using hand tools or power equipment.
• Repair existing structures by replacing or repairing damaged bricks or stones.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for masonry work.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.
