Job summary

Charm Connect in Alta, Norway is seeking an entry-level dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will help maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, and equipment, supporting the overall efficiency of the kitchen.

This role requires no prior experience as we provide on-the-job training. It is physically demanding, with standing for long periods and the possibility of lifting up to 50 lbs, along with evening, weekend and holiday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; training will be provided on the job.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload dishwashing machines with dirty dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
• Scrub and wash dishes by hand when necessary.
• Sort and stack clean dishes in an organized manner.
• Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment and report malfunctions to management.
• Empty trash bins as needed.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Assist with basic food prep tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen staff.
