The Instrument department in Stavanger is looking to strengthen the team with a new Engineer Specialist within Fiscal Metering. You will play an important part within Fiscal Metering across the locations.

About the position

In this position you will be responsible for technical supplier purchase agreements, engineering documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of scope and supplier information. You will play a key part in studies, front-end loading (FEL) work, and offshore modifications, working closely with multiple disciplines to deliver safe and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities and tasks include
  • Prepare and perform bid clarification meeting (BCM) and kick off meeting if necessary
  • Create package follow upSQS plan together with package buyer and MC engineer.
  • Create and follow up package distribution matrix for supplier documentation and send the matrix to Document Control.
  • Participation in any required site follow-up work for the procurement package.
  • Follow up and make sure Final Documentation for the scope of work is delivered at agreed date.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the work is performed according to relevant instructions / procedures and in accordance with the contract.
  • Technical responsible for Metering in study phase.
  • Choose the correct measurement technology
Qualifications
  • Engineering Degree in Process or Instrument and Automation
  • Metering experience minimum 5 years is preferred
  • Process or Instrument experience of 5 to 10 years
  • Good knowledge of metering standards
  • Good knowledge of company internal metering requirements
  • The ability to work independently, as well as in a team
  • Good communication skills, written and oral
  • Is systematic and accurate
  • Has high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
  • Is solution-oriented
  • Collaborative work attitude and accepts multicultural work environment
