Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead and coordinate commissioning activities for hyperscale data centre projects across Europe. You will manage all aspects of testing, verification, and handover to ensure facilities meet performance, safety, and operational readiness standards.

The role requires strong technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems and the ability to lead multiple stakeholders through complex commissioning programs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commissioning/MEP management experience, preferably in data centres or large infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning phases from execution through handover.
• Develop project-specific commissioning plans, schedules, and test procedures.
• Coordinate commissioning activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, and life-safety disciplines.
• Review and validate commissioning reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Ensure readiness for energisation and integration testing with contractors and operations teams.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and operations teams to ensure seamless transition to steady-state operations.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting system functionality, reliability, or safety.
• Support continuous improvement of Nscale's commissioning standards and procedures.
