Job summary

EliteService Staffing is hiring an experienced Elevator Installer to join our team in the United States. You will install, maintain, and repair elevators and escalators in commercial, residential, and healthcare facilities.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 2 years of elevator installation experience, and strong knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and safety practices. You will read blueprints and ensure work meets safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Elevator Installer.
• Knowledge of elevator mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with safety procedures for working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Physically fit to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or climbing ladders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install new elevators and escalators according to blueprints and manufacturer instructions.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing elevators and escalators.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with elevators and escalators.
• Keep records of all maintenance work done on each elevator or escalator.
• Comply with safety standards while working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure tools are properly stored at the end of each day.
