Job summary

KIS Vest avd. Stavanger is looking for a skilled service technician with experience in electronics, automation or mechanical work. You will plan and manage your own workday and carry out field assignments independently, while supported by colleagues.

The role focuses on inspection, maintenance and repair of lifting equipment in the Stavanger region, with opportunities for training and professional development through the KIS School and strong pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate (fagbrev) as an electrician, automation technician, industrial mechanic or equivalent.
• Experience from industrial assignments and customer follow-up.
• Good skills in Norwegian, written and oral.
• Driver's license class B.
• Mechanical understanding and interest.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, maintenance and repair of overhead cranes, hoists and other lifting equipment at industrial customers
• Installation and certification of new and existing installations
• Troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical and automation-related systems
• Work at height, often using a lift
• An active role in ensuring safe and efficient operations at industrial customers
