Job summary

Ovation Search partners with a leading data centre developer in Norway to appoint an Electrical Project Manager. You will own the electrical delivery across large-scale developments, leading Electrical Package Managers and coordinating with specialists to ensure safe, on-time completion.

The role blends Oslo-based work with time on project sites across Norway. You will report to the MEP Lead and work with mechanical, design and commissioning teams to manage HV/MV/LV distribution, UPS, switchgear

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical construction on large data centre projects.
• Ability to manage package managers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Knowledge of Norwegian construction market and regulations is advantageous.

Electrical Project Manager | Data Centres | Norway

Location: Oslo & Project Sites Across Norway

Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to move into a developer side role, with greater ownership of project delivery and the opportunity to work on some of Norway's most ambitious data centre developments?

I am supporting a growing data centre developer with an expanding portfolio across Norway, looking to appoint an Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical delivery of major construction projects.

This is a hands on leadership position, working closely with the MEP Lead and managing Electrical Package Managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

The Role

• Take responsibility for electrical construction and delivery across large scale data centre developments.
• Lead and manage Electrical Package Managers and oversee specialist electrical contractors.
• Coordinate the delivery of critical electrical infrastructure, including HV/MV/LV distribution, UPS, switchgear and backup power systems.
• Oversee electrical procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Manage programme, budgets, contractor performance, quality and safety across the electrical scope.
• Work closely with mechanical, CSA, design and commissioning teams to manage interfaces and resolve delivery challenges.
• Report into the MEP Lead, providing clear oversight of progress, risks and key project milestones.

About You

• Proven experience managing electrical construction delivery on large scale data centre or mission critical projects.
• Strong understanding of critical electrical infrastructure and complex electrical installations.
• Experience managing package managers, subcontractors and specialist suppliers.
• Commercially aware, with strong programme management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable taking ownership of electrical delivery from preconstruction through commissioning.
• Experience working within the Norwegian construction market and familiarity with local suppliers, contractors and regulations would be advantageous.
• A proactive, delivery-focused approach and the ability to work effectively within a growing organisation.
