Job summary

JTS ENGINEERING is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to oversee and execute commissioning of electrical systems on multiple projects. You will ensure installations, tests and operation comply with project specs and international standards.

Location: Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 3–7 years of commissioning experience, strong LV/MV knowledge, and excellent communication and reporting skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
3–7 years of commissioning experience (preferably in UAE/GCC).
Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems and testing procedures.
Familiarity with international standards (IEC, BS, etc.).
Good communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
Conduct testing of switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, and control systems.
Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors.
Prepare commissioning procedures, method statements, and reports.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
