A leading aquaculture technology provider is hiring a Customer Success Analyst in Bergen to transform data into actionable insights for salmon farmers. The role involves data analysis, customer interaction, and collaboration with teams to improve products. Candidates should have strong analytical and communication skills, and a degree in a relevant field. This position offers competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.
TidalX builds cutting-edge technology that helps salmon farmers optimize welfare, performance, and operational efficiency. Originally developed inside Google’s Moonshot Factory (X), our system combines advanced sensing, robotics, and machine learning to generate a unique stream of real-time biological, behavioral, and operational data, and our customers rely on us to translate that data into decisions that matter.
We’re growing fast in Norway and need analytical, driven people who thrive in ambiguous, high-speed environments.
We are hiring a Customer Success Analyst to help transform TidalX’s data into actionable insights for farmers and into concrete improvements for our product.
This is a hybrid role blending data analysis, customer-facing work, and commercial problem-solving. Think of it as a Senior Associate / Manager profile from consulting, but applied to aquaculture and cutting‑edge farming technology.
Location: Bergen or Sunnmøre (preferred), or Norway-based remote with regular site visits.
You will work closely with Customer Success Managers, Engineers, Product, and our customers to:
Identify what the data is telling us
Diagnose anomalies or deviation cases
Present insights clearly and persuasively
Contribute to customer meetings and strategic account work
Support the continuous improvement of TidalX’s product and analytics stack
Analyze biological, operational, and behavioral data generated by Tidal units
Build clear narratives and insight summaries for customers (weekly, monthly, or ad‑hoc)
Investigate and resolve data deviation cases in collaboration with engineering
Support Product with data‑driven feature requests, prototypes, and prioritization
Customer Success Support
Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and strategic reviews
Prepare meeting materials, summaries, and follow‑up actions
Help quantify the value customers receive from TidalX
Translate customer needs into data‑backed recommendations
Internal Collaboration
Work cross‑functionally with product, engineering, biology, and field teams
Contribute to internal dashboards, metrics, and insight frameworks
Help improve how TidalX presents data across all customer touchpoints
Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with real‑world operational data
Able to turn complex information into simple, valuable insights
Confident communicator who enjoys interacting with customers
Curious, proactive, and energized by fast‑growth environments
Comfortable with ambiguity and self‑directed work
A team player who likes solving problems together
Experience from analytics, customer success, management consulting, or a similar field (typically 2–5 years)
Degree in business, engineering, marine biology, statistics/mathematics, data science, or related fields
Familiarity with aquaculture is a huge plus, but not required
Basic experience with SQL and BI tools
Some coding experience is a plus, but not required
Strong slide‑writing and business communication skills
Comfortable working in both English and Norwegian (written and spoken)
We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every single requirement – problem‑solving ability, curiosity, and analytical acumen matter most.
A front‑row seat to transforming aquaculture with cutting‑edge tech
A role with both analytical depth and customer‑facing responsibility
Fast learning, real ownership, and influence on product direction
A collaborative team passionate about solving hard, meaningful problems
Competitive compensation and opportunities for growth as TidalX scales
