Job summary

BlueHorizon in Os, Norway is seeking a hardworking Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant for a temporary role with potential permanent opportunity. You will wash and sanitize dishes, keep the kitchen clean, assist in food prep, and support the team to ensure smooth operations.

The position requires physical fitness, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and a willingness to learn and take on extra tasks as needed; accommodation is provided by the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional tasks as needed.
• Good time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
• Prior dishwasher or kitchen assistant experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment.
• Keep the kitchen and dishwashing area clean and organized.
• Assist in food preparation as needed.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth operation.
