About the role

Director HR Nordics will be a key HR partner and ensure strategic HR support to Executive Vice-President and the joint Nordics management team. You will act as customer representative for the Nordics Business Area towards the HR teams in SA O and take the strategic responsibility to ensure HR deliveries. This role will not directly manage a team however will be a critical and strategic role that acts as a bridge between the Nordics management team and local/corporate HR teams. This role will also drive prioritised projects to shape the organisation and workforce within the Nordics.

Nordicsis asset owner of Statkraft's power production within hydro, wind and solar in the Nordic countries as well as ownership position in other Norwegian regional power.

The Director HR Nordics reports to SVP Business Support and is a member of the Business Support management team with the following main responsibilities:

  • Advise and support EVP and joint Nordics management team on all HR topics
  • Engage in business strategy discussions with a focus on people and organization implications
  • Drive prioritized projects to shape the Nordics organization and workforce
  • Coordinate relevant deliveries from Group HR to BA N units and provide proactive HR advisory on key issues like strategic workforce planning, organizational development, talent management, and leadership development
  • Collaborate with Group HR to translate business needs and ensure EVP's priorities are addressed in the overall HR agenda in Statkraft
  • Support organizational design, development, and change in the BA, and facilitate discussions on prioritized people and organization topics
  • Act as a customer representative for the BA in collaboration with Group HR and Country HR, ensuring both operative and strategic HR deliveries are met, and be part of the extended HR Leadership team
Qualifications
  • Higher education related to HR preferably Master´s level
  • Extensive experience from a similar position, preferably from large or medium-sized international organisations with matrix and global operations
  • Strong understanding of business and the corresponding HR processes
  • Drive and passion for people- and organisational development.
