Job summary

Storebrand is seeking a Digital Delivery Manager in the Digital Retail/Insurance unit to lead delivery of customer-focused digital solutions. You will coordinate claims-related digital services and work across product, engineering and operations to align speed, quality and business value.

You will lead developers and tech leads, manage dependencies, and ensure delivery in line with Storebrand's software lifecycle and continuous delivery practices, while communicating with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading digital delivery in insurance is preferred.
• Strong technical understanding, possibly from developer/architect background.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Define realistic digital service and product roadmaps with Area Product Manager.
• Be personnel leader for developers and tech lead.
• Champion getting things done and production deployment.
• Oversee status across developer teams and projects.
• Manage dependencies and risks; remove roadblocks.
• Support collaborative planning and continuous delivery.
• Ensure delivery aligns with SDLC and Service Management processes.
• Experience in P&C insurance and claims handling is advantageous.

About the role

Our Digital Delivery Mangers are technical leaders in our digital insurance team - is all about getting things done, making sure that the teams are delivering with both the right focus, speed and quality.

In this role, you will work closely with our Claims area to shape and deliver customer-friendly digital solutions that make claims handling simpler, faster and automated for our customers, while also giving claims handlers better tools and support in their everyday work. You will be involved in initiatives across the claims value chain, from customer-facing services to core operational processes, automatisn and integrations with both internal and external systems.

• Support Area Product Manager in defining realistic digital service & product roadmaps
• Personell leader for developers and tech lead
• Be the champion of getting things done and into production - make great work happen and getting digital solutions delivered
• Have the overview of status of what is happening across the developer teams and projects
• Manage dependencies and risks- identifying and removing roadblocks
• Strong technical understanding (ideally you will have been a developer or architect earlier in your career)
• Support collaborative planning processes
• Deliver and maintain digital services using Continuous Delivery
• Ensure that delivery process is aligned with the Storebrand Software Delivery Lifecycle and Service Management processes
• Experience from P&C insurance is an advantage, and experience from claims handling, claims processes or digital claims solutions is particularly relevant for this role.
• Fluent in Norwegian & English
