Job summary

SeaLink is seeking a Dietitian - Nutrition Consultant to provide expert dietary guidance to clients in Svalbard. You will assess dietary needs, create tailored nutrition plans, and support clients with ongoing education and motivation to achieve health goals.

You will also conduct group workshops, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and stay current with nutrition research. A Bachelor’s degree and a Certified Dietitian license are required, with at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
• Certified Dietitian license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of nutrition principles and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop personalized nutrition plans for individuals with diverse needs.
• Experience conducting group workshops or seminars is a plus.
• Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage).
• Passion for promoting healthy eating habits and improving overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' dietary needs, taking into consideration medical history, lifestyle, cultural background, and personal preferences.
• Develop customized nutrition plans based on individual goals and dietary requirements.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments to plans as needed.
• Provide ongoing support, education, and motivation to clients throughout their journey.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.
• Conduct group workshops and seminars on various topics related to nutrition.
• Stay up-to-date with current research and trends in the field of nutrition.
• Maintain accurate records of client consultations.
