Job summary

PrimeLedger Associates is seeking a Data Mining Analyst on a contract basis in Svalbard, Norway. You will gather and clean large datasets, apply data mining techniques to identify patterns, and develop predictive models to inform business decisions.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, experience with SQL/Python/R, and the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure data quality under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Stats or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in data mining or related field.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, or R for querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods (regression, clustering, classification).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly.
