Data Mining Analyst

As a Data Mining Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. Your expertise in data mining techniques and tools will be essential in providing valuable insights to inform business decisions. This position is located in the beautiful city of Svalbard, known for its breathtaking nature and unique wildlife.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced data mining techniques to identify patterns and trends in large datasets
• Develop algorithms and models to extract relevant information from raw data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights
• Present findings and recommendations through visualizations and reports
• Continuously monitor and improve data quality, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies in data mining

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
• Proficient in SQL, Python, R or other programming languages used for data analysis
• Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical methodsExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner

Salary: $1600 per month (with accommodation provided)
