Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Gaupne, Norway, seeks a Data Center Technician to provide on-site support at local data center facilities.

You will perform Remote Hands tasks, server rack installation, cross-connect management, hardware diagnostics, and on-call support. The role requires lifting 25 kg+, reliable transport, and strong English communication.

Experience with data center infrastructure is preferred, and certifications in server/networking areas are a plus.

The Role

We're looking for a skilled Data Center Technician in Gaupne, Norway to provide on-site technical support at local data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Remote Hands & Smart Hands support (cabling, power cycling, hardware swaps)
• Server rack installation and decommissioning
• Cross-connect and patch panel management
• Hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Visual inspections and inventory audits
• Escort and access coordination for client visits
• Emergency response and on-call availability

Requirements
