Apex Service Partners is seeking a Data Analyst to help triage data issues, perform ad-hoc analyses, and uplift the analytics posture across the data infrastructure. The role partners with senior leaders to plan data-driven growth initiatives for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years Python & SQL experience, data science library exposure, and a passion for impactful analytics in a residential services platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Finance, CS)
• 3+ years of Python & SQL in data analysis
• Experience with Python data science libraries (Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn)
• Experience with JSON data and OLAP data models (Star Schema)
• Nice-to-have: Snowflake & DBT; ML or statistical analytics exposure

Job Description – Data Analyst (Data & Analytics)

Mission of the Role:

• Apex is looking for a Data Analyst who is passionate about helping build a world-class data and analytics organization. This individual would be responsible for (i) managing triaging reported data issues, (ii) supporting functions with ad-hoc data analysis, (iii) increasing the analytics posture of our data infrastructure, and (iv) being a thought partner on long-term strategic planning and data-driven growth initiatives with department leaders and other senior leaders within Apex.
• This role is highly analytical, strategic, and data-oriented and is suited for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to technical and analytical capabilities, with a high level of emotional intelligence, to help grow the Company.

Responsibilities:

• Support Partner Services functions with ad-hoc data analysis capabilities such as data audit reports, producing curated data sets, and exploratory data analysis.
• Take ownership of triaging reported data issues and identifying root cause.
• Partner with Data & Analytics team to translate data analysis proof-of-concepts into Data Model enhancements.
• Partner with Data & Analytics team to implement Data Quality checks within existing Data Pipelines.
• Provide Data Analysis support for strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with organizational goals.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience using Python & SQL in a Data Analysis role.
• 3+ years of experience working with Python Data Science such as like Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn,
• 3+ years using SQL functionality like CTEs, Pivots, Window Functions, etc.
• Experienced with working with JSON data.
• Experienced querying OLAP Data Models (Star Schema).
• Experience with Snowflake & DBT is a plus.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, or statistical analytics is a plus.
