Job summary

DNV Energy Systems is looking for a Data Analyst in Oslo to transform large, complex datasets into trusted analytics and dashboards. You will deliver insights that support better decisions across regions and functions, engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear analyses.

You will work hands-on with BI tools, contribute to reporting improvements, and help scale analytics capabilities while embracing AI initiatives across the energy sector.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of Data Analyst/BI experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field.
• Experience turning large datasets into reports/dashboards.
• Ability to translate business needs into data requirements.
• Experience presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Translate business questions into analytical approaches and KPIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and product teams to improve analytics.
• Improve reporting processes, data models, and self‑service analytics capabilities.
• Support AI adoption initiatives within Energy Systems.
