We are currently in need of a reliable and experienced Contract Truck Driver to join our team in Oslo. As a contract driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another. This is an urgent job with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the truck and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Load and unload goods onto the truck, ensuring they are properly secured
• Plan routes and make necessary adjustments based on traffic or weather conditions
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays or issues
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck and report any mechanical issues

Requirements

• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
• Familiarity with GPS systems for navigation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading goods
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills in English (Norwegian language proficiency is a plus)
