Job summary

PrimeGlobal in Bergen, Norway, seeks a Registered Dietitian on a contract basis to provide evidence-based nutrition care through individual consultations and group sessions. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to tailor plans based on medical history, dietary needs, and lifestyle.

The ideal candidate has a BD in Dietetics and RD certification with at least 2 years of experience, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Dietitian.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of nutrition principles.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Fluency in Norwegian is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual consultations with clients to assess their nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans
• Conduct group education sessions on various nutrition topics
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients
• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to meal plans as needed
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition
