WealthGuard USA in Alta, Canada is seeking a skilled Contract Mason to build and repair brick, stone or concrete block structures, delivering high-quality work on schedule.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, preparing surfaces, laying bricks, cutting materials, erecting scaffolding, and ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations; you must be physically fit and able to work outdoors.

This contract position does not include accommodation.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Mason or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
• Excellent time management and ability to complete projects on schedule.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsabilidades

• Read blueprints and plans to determine materials.
• Prepare surfaces, mix mortar and level surfaces.
• Lay bricks or blocks in horizontal courses using trowels and levels.
• Cut bricks, stones or blocks with hand or power tools.
• Erect scaffolding or swing stages for safe access.
• Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones and repointing joints.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Coordinate tasks with team members and contractors to ensure project completion.
