Job summary

Ikm Gruppen AS in Stavanger seeks an experienced installation specialist to develop methods and prepare offshore work packages. You will work with 3D design models and provide input on sequences and time estimates while ensuring strict HSE adherence. Offshore travel may be required.

The role requires Norwegian and English fluency, a fagbrev or equivalent, and 5+ years in onshore/offshore construction. Full-time position with a 5/2 schedule in Stavanger.

Qualifications

• Develop effective installation methods and present them using PowerPoint.
• Prepare comprehensive work packages for offshore installation.
• Work actively within 3D design models.
• Provide detailed input on installation sequences and time estimations.
• Ensure a strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principles.
• Interpret and utilize technical drawings and work descriptions.
• Collaborate with the team and undertake sporadic offshore trips as required.

Required expertise

• Minimum 5 years of experience in onshore or offshore construction environments.
• Relevant trade certificate (fagbrev) or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with safety and operational requirements on platforms and sites.
• Required rigging and lifting certificates: T1, T4, G4, and G11.
• Valid offshore survival certificate (HUET) and offshore health certificate.
• Certifications in AT & SJA, Ex awareness, and Fall Protection (full-day course).
• Strong IT skills and experience with method planning.
• Fluency in both Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

• Location: Stavanger, (offshore travel required)
• Work schedule: Full-time (5/2 schedule, 100% workload)
• Duration: Temporary contract (Planned: 02/11/2026 - 31/12/2027)
