Job summary

NES Advantage, acting as global recruitment partner for Aker Solutions, is seeking a Punch Coordinator for an offshore project at Stord. The role focuses on coordinating Mechanical Completion and punch activities, planning MC tasks, and ensuring HSSE compliance while supporting procedures and handover.

The ideal candidate has completion experience from offshore oil & gas new-build projects, EPC exposure in Topsides/Facilities or renewables, and strong knowledge of MC processes.

Qualifications

  • Previous Completion experience from offshore oil & gas new-build projects is required.
  • Experience from EPC projects within Topsides & Facilities, Renewables or similar environments.
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical Completion processes and multidisciplinary project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and driving Mechanical Completion and punch activities within your assigned area of responsibility
  • Planning, preparing and executing MC activities in accordance with project procedures and schedules
  • Ensuring strong HSSE performance and compliance throughout all completion activities
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure efficient punch closure and successful handover

Job description

As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for a Punch Coordinator for an exciting project at Stord.

Candidates must have previous Completion experience from offshore oil & gas new-build projects.

The project follows a 14/21 rotation.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?
  • Coordinating and driving Mechanical Completion and punch activities within your assigned area of responsibility
  • Planning, preparing and executing MC activities in accordance with project procedures and schedules
  • Ensuring strong HSSE performance and compliance throughout all completion activities
  • Supporting the development and implementation of procedures, work instructions and governing documentation
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure efficient punch closure and successful handover
We think you should have:
  • Previous Completion experience from offshore oil & gas new-build projects is required
  • Experience from EPC projects within Topsides & Facilities, Renewables or similar environments
  • Good understanding of Mechanical Completion processes and multidisciplinary project execution
  • Experience with PIMS, MIPS, ProCoSys, Microsoft 365 and Autodesk Simulate
  • Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, combined with a proactive and structured approach
  • Technical education or bachelor's degree, where relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications
