Qualifications

Job description
We are looking for Commissioning System Responsible for Utility systems, rotation (Pnr: 22967)
Job Description:
  • System Responsible Engineer for Utility systems
  • Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
  • Provide engineering input
  • Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.
  • Able to work independently to plan and execute MC follow-up and commissioning activities.
  • Participate in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
  • Deliver input and update progress into project completion system PIMS.
  • Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures.
  • Coordinate with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
  • Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
  • Manage assistance personnel from contractors and other resources providing services.
  • Ensure spare parts and special tools are available prior to execution of commissioning activities.
  • Plan and ensure first fills are available in timely fashion and perform first fills.
  • Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve client’s expectations.
  • Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
  • Participate in discipline MC punch rounds at sites for designated systems.
  • Plan and execute commissioning activities in a timely manner based on commissioning plan.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
  • Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
  • MSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience from NORSOK projects.
  • System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding.
  • Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills is a major advantage.
  • Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. Experience with PIMS is an advantage.
  • Ability to engage and lead a team of commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.
