Job summary

Family Assist is seeking a Civil Engineer to support infrastructure development in Alta, Norway. You will design and plan roads, bridges, and public structures, and coordinate with engineers and professionals to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and safe project delivery.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, at least 2 years in infrastructure, proficiency in CAD, and familiarity with local codes and safety standards. This full-time role is based in Alta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in infrastructure development or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing and planning infrastructure projects according to client requirements and local regulations.
• Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed projects.
• Preparing detailed engineering plans, specifications and drawings using CAD software.
• Overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborating with project managers to monitor progress and resolve issues during construction.
• Conducting site inspections to assess quality of work and identify risks.
• Keeping up-to-date with developments in civil engineering technology and techniques.
