Job summary

EMW, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC lead with active NATO SECRET clearance to manage CIS inventories and ensure security policy compliance across exercise environments. You will oversee QA/QC for CIS builds, desktop images, and IT equipment, coordinating with Section Heads and technicians to meet deadlines.

The role requires strong ICT infrastructure knowledge, change management experience, and excellent communication to support complex operational activities.

Qualifications

• Currently active NATO SECRET security clearance is required.
• Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure management.
• Experience with change and configuration management processes (releases, updates, approvals, compliance).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and CIS security policies in operational/exercise environments.
• Ability to conduct QA/QC for CIS builds, desktop images, IT equipment and software.
• Experience testing IT systems prior to deployment or handover.
• Proven leadership and ability to coordinate technicians and audit activities.
• Excellent communication and coordination with internal units and customers.

Responsibilities

Duties & Role:

• Maintain JWC and NCST software inventories while ensuring adherence to applicable security policies and standards
• Manage QA/QC activities for CIS builds and desktop image builds supporting exercises and operational events
• Conduct QA/QC testing of IT equipment and software prior to deployment and customer handover
• Ensure implementation and compliance of CIS security policies in accordance with exercise and operational documentation
• Lead and supervise technicians conducting internal quality audits and oversee the production of technical non-compliance reports
• Liaise closely with internal Section Heads and provide assistance as required
• Plan, schedule own work and monitor work of others – where applicable – within limited time horizons
• Perform other duties as may be required

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Strong knowledge of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure management
• Experience in Change and Configuration Management procedures, including software releases, updates, approvals, and compliance tracking
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, CIS security policies, and compliance requirements within operational and exercise environments
• Ability to conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes for CIS builds, desktop image builds, IT equipment, and software systems
• Experience in testing and validation of IT systems prior to operational deployment, exercises, or customer handover
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to identify non-compliances and produce detailed technical audit reports
• Leadership and team management experience, including coordinating technicians and directing quality audit activities
• Effective communication and coordination skills to liaise with internal units, stakeholders, and customers
