Job summary

Scalable Solutions seeks a versatile developer at a strong middle level to work on both core engineering tasks and implement new product features in the core system.

You will design business logic, improve performance, participate in code reviews, and write unit tests while contributing to a robust trading core in Rogaland, Norway.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C++17 and the STL used in high-load, client-server systems.
• Experience designing and developing high-load systems with asynchronous/multithreaded programming.
• Commercial software development experience of 3+ years.
• Familiarity with Linux, relational databases, Git, and English technical reading.

• Improve the performance and stability of system components

Qualifications

You have:

• Professional proficiency in C++17
• Confident in using the STL library
• Experience in designing and developing high-load systems
• Experience with asynchronous and multithreaded programming
• Experience in developing client-server systems
• At least 3 years of commercial software development experience

Highly Preferred

• Experience working with Linux OS
• Experience using relational databases
• Experience with Git
• English proficiency sufficient to read technical documentation
