Job summary

BlueDynamics is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Repair Master to join our team in Bergen, Norway on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and possess strong technical skills in bodywork and paint, ensuring high-quality restoration of damaged vehicles.

Responsibilities include conducting thorough inspections, performing repairs, and maintaining a clean work area. A minimum of 3 years' experience and proficiency in welding and painting techniques are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Body Repair Master or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle structure materials and repair methods.
• Proficient in welding techniques, particularly MIG welding.
• Skilled in panel beating, sanding, grinding, and painting techniques.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.

• Repair and replace damaged body panels including welding and panel beating as necessary.
• Perform paintwork including color matching and blending to achieve a seamless finish.
• Ensure all work is completed within the given time frame and meets quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair progress and any additional work needed.
• Keep track of inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Body Repair Master or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle structure materials and repair methods.
