Job summary

Helderberg Personnel CC is seeking a dedicated boat transport driver to operate Code 10 / EC1 vehicles, including boat loading/unloading and trailer handling. You will complete logs, maintain vehicle safety, and represent the company professionally on site and with clients.

This role requires a valid SA driver’s license (Code 10/EC1) and PrDP, with flexibility for overtime and every 2nd Saturday. Long hours and physical work may be involved in a yard environment.

Qualifications

• Valid South African Driver's Licence (Code 10 / EC1).
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
• Knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and every 2nd Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Operate Code 10 / EC1 vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Transport boats, drive as well as reverse with a trailer.
• Ensure correct loading, securing, and unloading of boat.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness at all times.
• Complete logbooks, trip sheets, and delivery documentation accurately.
• Comply with road traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines.
• General operational duties in boat yard.
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and the public.
