Job summary

Pixel Innovations in Svalbard is seeking an Interpreter/Translator to facilitate communication between people who speak different languages. You will interpret spoken words and translate written documents, while ensuring confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.

Required: fluency in at least two languages including English, excellent listening and verbal/written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay neutral in conversations.

Responsibilities

• Listen carefully and accurately interpret spoken words from one language to another
• Translate written documents such as emails, reports, and legal documents
• Facilitate communication between individuals who do not speak the same language
• Ensure cultural sensitivity and accuracy in interpretationMaintain confidentiality of all interpreted or translated information
• Keep updated with changes in languages, terminology, and slang in both languages
