Job summary

Norwegian Fishing Village Museum on Å in Lofoten is seeking seasonal Bakery & Café workers for busy café operations. Responsibilities include baking in a wood-fired oven, selling baked goods, and serving guests. Weekend and night shifts are possible; approx.

38–40 hours per week. Employment runs 04.05–31.10 with daytime, weekday and weekend shifts. Position requires Barista skills, baking experience, and ability to work in a lively museum environment.

Responsibilities

• Barista duties and selling baked goods.

Arbeidet består av baking, salg og service til gjester.

Må også regne med helg- og natt arbeid. Stillingsstørrelse er ca. 38-40 timer per uke. Stillingen er tilgjengelig fra 04.05 - 31 oktober. Dag, hverdag og helg.

Norwegian Fishing village Museum is hiring seasonal employees for our Bakery. The work consists of baking in a woodfired oven from 1878, sales and service to international guest in a very busy environment.

Daytime, weekdays, and weekends.

Approx 35 hours pr week from ca 03.may - 31.october

Ansvarsområder. Main areas of responsibility.

Barista, Salg av bakervarer, bake kaker, enkel servering, åpne- og stengeansvar i bakeri og kafé, renhold.

Barista, Sale of baked goods, baking cakes, making sandwiches / waffles, opening- and closing, cleaning.

Krav til kompetanse Qualifications

• Barista
• Baking
• Håndterer en til tider hektisk arbeidshverdag
• Copes with a buzzing work environment.
• Erfaring fra kafé, bakeri eller restaurant.
• Experience from bakery, pastry shop, café or similar.
• Språk / Language: English
• Kan formidle bakerihåndverk og baketradisjon i et levende museum
• Can provide information regarding the bakery and its traditions to guests.
