Job summary

CHC Helicopters Australia seeks an AW139 EMS Captain to support the DFES contract in Jandakot, WA. The role is permanent full‑time on a rotating eight‑day roster with day and night shifts and four days off.

You will operate in offshore energy, EMS and search & rescue settings, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance with a strong teamwork focus.

Applicants must hold ATPL(H), IR-C-ME(H), 3000+ hours, AW139 type rating and CASA/ASIC clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Valid ATPL(H) license required.
• IR-C-ME(H) with minimum 3 renewals.
• Minimum 3000 flying hours.
• Minimum 1200 multi-engine hours.
• Minimum 2000 PIC hours.
• Current AW139 Type Rating with 100 PIC hours on type.
• NVIS rating.
• 200 hours night flying.
• Low Level rating with Winch Endorsement.
• Ability to obtain CASA Class 1 Medical and ASIC.

Responsibilities

• Operate as AW139 EMS Captain for DFES Contract.
• Work an eight‑day roster: two day shifts, two night shifts, four days off.
• Deliver safe, reliable helicopter services in offshore and EMS environments.
