Job summary

MasterFix Solutions is seeking an Assistant Surveyor to support the lead surveyor in land surveys, map creation and data collection. This part-time role offers hands-on experience in a field that rewards precision and clear communication in outdoor settings.

You will work independently or with the team, learning to use GPS systems and total stations, record measurements accurately, and ensure safety on site. Training is provided for candidates without prior surveying experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
• Previous experience in surveying or a related field is a plus, but not required
• Proficient in using surveying tools and equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, etc.
• Strong mathematical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Assistant Surveyor
