A global leader in maritime technology is seeking an Area Sales Manager to oversee and expand sales activities in Norway. The role involves driving business development, managing customer accounts, and fostering strong relationships in the maritime sector. Candidates should have proven sales experience, exceptional communication skills, and a solid understanding of technology, particularly e-Navigation solutions. This position offers flexible working hours and a friendly work environment in a new office.
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to manage and grow NAVTOR’s commercial activities in Norway. For the right candidate, managing other regions can also be considered.
This role involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving sales strategies within the maritime industry.

Drive NAVTOR’s sales and business development activities.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring long-term relationships.
Present NAVTOR’s product portfolio and provide tailored solutions to customers.
Prepare sales forecasts, perform market analysis, and stay updated on industry trends.
Collaborate closely with NAVTOR’s global sales team and technical support teams.
Maintain accurate records in NAVTOR’s CRM system and report regularly to management.
Proven experience in sales or commercial roles
Technology understanding of e-Navigation or maritime solutions is a plus.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative, while being a team player.
Highly computer literate and comfortable with digital tools.
Fluent in English.
Previous experience in managing teams is desirable, but not required.
Sales-driven mindset with a proactive approach.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with customers.
Quick learner with an interest in technology and innovation.
