Job summary

A leading engineering staffing provider in Norway is seeking an Architect / PRE Doors to act as the package responsible engineer. You'll need a minimum of 10 years in oil & gas or offshore wind, with specific experience in architectural package engineering. Successful candidates will possess strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English. This position offers a contract period from January to August 2026, with responsibilities ranging from vendor coordination to quality checks at supplier premises.

Qualifications

  • Experience from architectural package engineering (minimum 5 years required).
  • Experience with work orders for offshore work.

Architect / PRE Doors

Contract period: 08.01.2026 - 31.08.2026

Location: Asker, Haugesund or Stavanger

Main tasks:
  • Package responsible engineer for doors
  • Ensure that all vendor information necessary to progress the work is identified and communicated to the project team
  • Issue requisitions, technical follow up of supplier, delivery and documentation
  • Assist in establishing material input to the Engineering Information System database
  • Follow up vendors and perform required quality check of the supply at the supplier’s premises
  • Coordination with other interface disciplines
Qualifications:
  • Technical College or other relevant education, combined with long experience
  • Technical skills
  • Minimum 10 years work experience within oil & gas/offshore wind
  • Experience from architectural package engineering (minimum 5 years required)
  • Experience with work orders for offshore work
  • Experience with modification scope and work orders for offshore work
  • Have good communication skills
  • Multidisciplinary understanding
  • Have a cooperative working attitude
  • Ability to work independently and through as well as ability to work in team
  • Be systematic, accurate and independent
  • Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
