Job summary

QuantSpark seeks an Analyst to join our Analytics and Consulting team, delivering end-to-end data analytics projects in a hybrid London setup. You will translate datasets into actionable insights, develop analysis pipelines, and employ AI tooling to speed delivery while maintaining accuracy.

You'll learn our tools and methods in the first months, supporting projects and collaborating with engineers and product teams to drive client outcomes. This is a fast-paced role with real client exposure.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with a technical focus in data analytics.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python and a willingness to build skills in data engineering, predictive modelling, or BI.
• Strong interest in AI tooling and how to apply it to real projects.
• Organised, can work autonomously as well as part of a team, and manage workload reliably.
• Clear communication and ability to explain data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Basic understanding of statistics from study or practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analysing datasets and translate findings into clear insights.
• Contribute to the delivery of analysis pipelines, models, and visualisations with guidance.
• Use AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate delivery while ensuring outputs are correct.
• Collaborate with project teams and learn to communicate insights effectively to clients.
• Support senior analysts and managers on project tasks, gradually gaining independence.
• Develop practical skills in data engineering, modelling, and business intelligence tools.

• Support senior analysts and managers on project tasks, gradually building confidence and independence.
• Develop practical skills in data engineering, modelling, and business intelligence tools.

In your first three months, you'll focus on learning our tools and methods, supporting project deliverables, and integrating into the team.

Our team

You’ll join our Analytics and Consulting team, (a team of around 8) on live client engagements. The team works closely with our engineering and product colleagues, so you'll be delivering analysis as part of a wider effort.

You should apply if

• You have commercial experience with a technical focus in data analytics and a strong motivation to learn end to end project work.
• You have at least an intermediate proficiency in Python and a willingness to build skills in data engineering, predictive modelling, or business intelligence.
• You have a strong interest in AI tooling and how to apply it to real projects.
• You're organised, can work autonomously as well as part of a team, and can manage your workload reliably, collaborating well within a team.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy explaining data insights to non‑technical audiences.
• You want to apply data and AI to real world problems and grow in a fast paced environment.

Must-haves

• Python programming basics
• Some background in AI experimentation or hands‑on use of AI tools.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• A basic understanding of statistical analysis, from study or practice.

Preferred

• Familiarity with SQL or cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Exposure to data visualisation tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Interest or exposure to project management principles.
• Knowledge of, or interest in, machine learning.
