Job summary

Golden Owl Solutions is seeking an Accountant Intern to gain practical experience in invoicing, payroll-related tasks, and accounting administration within a growing IT Solutions & Digital Marketing company.

You will work under guidance with the accounting team, handle documentation, data entry and payment support, and learn internal processes related to tax, banking documents and systems. This internship aims at final-year students or fresh graduates ready to start in accounting.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or fresh graduate majoring in Accounting/Finance.
• Internship experience or active participation in school/social activities is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; good aptitude for numbers and computer-based work.
• Familiarity with MISA or accounting software is a plus.
• Personal laptop is required.
• 12-month full-time working commitment after the internship.

Responsibilities

• Accounting documents and invoice support.
• Verify, reconcile, organize and store invoices and accounting documents promptly and in compliance with regulations.
• Assist in preparing financial documents such as invoices, receipts, purchase orders and other related records.
• Payment, receivable and payable support.
• Support the review of payment documents and assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Follow up on required documents to support timely payments, collections and internal approval processes.
• Input accounting data into the system as required and ensure information is accurate and properly recorded.
• Assist in preparing basic accounting records, summaries or supporting documents under guidance.
• Payroll and administrative accounting support.
• Assist in payroll processing and related employee payment documents when needed.
• Support other specialized accounting tasks such as submitting documents to tax authorities or banks, drafting petition letters or reviewing historical tax data under guidance.
