This is a hands‑on position where you will work with AP, AR, VAT, reconciliations and general ledger tasks. You will manage your own portfolio and ensure smooth financial flows, while being part of a collaborative Finance & Accounting team that values precision, responsibility and continuous improvement.

If you thrive on structure, accuracy and well‑run processes, this role will give you both ownership and impact.

Main tasks and responsibilities

You will support strong financial operations across five Norwegian legal entities and contribute to both daily routines and monthly closing activities.

Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Capture and allocate incoming customer payments in Jeeves.
  • Follow up payment discrepancies, prepayments and outstanding balances.
  • Manage the AR mailbox and maintain clear tracking of actions and overdue items.
  • Maintain an updated overview of open receivables and payment plans.
VAT & Compliance
  • Assist with preparation and submission of VAT returns (primarily Norway).
  • Support compliance with accounting and tax regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Support the processing of supplier invoices in Medius when needed.
  • Help ensure a smooth invoice flow so the AP ledger remains up to date.
  • Assist in keeping the AP mailbox organized and up to date.
  • Prepare the weekly payment file and execute payment runs.
General Ledger & Reconciliations
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for assigned entities.
  • Carry out account reconciliations and follow up open items.
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit trails across all reconciliations.
Ad Hoc Accounting Support
  • Assist with journal entries, realocations, corrections and ad hoc invoicing tasks.
  • Support the Senior Accounting and Cash Manager in ongoing accounting activities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience from a similar accounting role (preferred).
  • Education within Accounting (Bachelor level preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage your own task portfolio.
  • Comfortable working with parallel processes and multiple entities.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Experience with Medius, Jeeves or similar systems is an advantage.
