Job summary

Otovo is seeking a Field Service Technician to work across the Netherlands in a field-based, permanent role. You will maintain, diagnose, and repair PV systems, batteries, and EV charging points, with responsibility for preventive maintenance and commissioning.

You’ll interact with customers, report activities, and participate in on-call duties, operating to NEN 1010/3140 standards. The role comes with a company van, tools, and ongoing training, with a salary of €42k–€52k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven experience with solar PV systems (installation, maintenance or service).
• MBO level 3/4 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Energy Technology.
• Valid NEN 3140 certification.
• B driving license and physical ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair PV systems, batteries, and EV charging points.
• Perform preventive maintenance and commissioning.
• Explain solutions to customers and follow up.
• Report activities and materials used.
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency interventions.
