Job summary

Linkedtalent in Aalsmeer is seeking a yacht interior builder/furniture maker to craft interior components of luxury yachts, from bed frames to wall panels, using drawings and exclusive woods. You will join a team of about 20 colleagues, ensure correct methods and safety, and help prepare components for on-board installation under the furniture making group leader.

Job description

Do you have a passion for luxury interiors and yacht building? For our client in Aalsmeer we are looking for a yacht interior builder. Your contribution will make the client's dream come true. Interested? Then read on quickly.

What are you going to do?

As a furniture maker/yacht interior builder, you are responsible for a specific interior component of the yacht. Whether this is a bed frame, cupboard, wall panel or super-deluxe bar. Using drawings and pre-processed components from the machine, you ensure that the interior component assigned to you is made according to the correct method. In doing so, you ensure that the correct tools are used, the correct exclusive materials including solid wood and veneer, and of course safety The interior department consists of mechanical woodworking, furniture making, installation on board the yacht and finishing. You will work in the furniture making. Together with approximately 20 colleagues, you ensure that the products from the machine are assembled into the desired interior component, which your colleagues then install on board. You will report to the furniture making group leader.

Eisen

• A completed relevant vocational training in the direction of (ship) interior design at MBO level 3 or 4
• Knowledge of reading drawings and working with various exclusive types of wood, in solid, veneer or with HPL
• Mastery of the Dutch language in speech and writing
