Maintec in the Netherlands is seeking a Workshop Carpenter – Modular Construction to join a modern production environment building modular housing units. You will collaborate with a professional team to assemble walls, floors, and roofs following technical drawings and standardized processes.

Key requirements include experience as a carpenter or construction worker, ability to read drawings, and English proficiency (B1/B2).

Responsibilities

• Assembling wooden wall, floor, and roof elements for modular houses.

• Checking dimensions, quality, and finishing of constructed elements.

As a Workshop Carpenter – Modular Construction, you will work in a modern production hall where modular housing units are assembled. Together with a professional team, you contribute to the construction of walls, floors, roofs, and complete modular units. All work takes place in a controlled indoor environment, based on technical drawings and standardized work processes.

Your main tasks include:

• Assembling wooden wall, floor, and roof elements for modular houses
• Reading and working from technical drawings and work instructions
• Installing frames, panels, and prefabricated components
• Using hand tools and professional woodworking equipment
• Checking dimensions, quality, and finishing of constructed elements
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Employment conditions:

• Gross hourly wage between €14.71 – €16.00, depending on experience
• Net salary approximately €450 – €550 per week, based on a 37.5-hour working week
• Weekly salary payments
• Clear employment contract in your own language, with the intention of long-term cooperation

• 25 vacation days per year (20 paid days off + 5 vacation days paid weekly with your salary)
• 8% holiday allowance, paid weekly
